If you are asked for verification, you must provide the necessary documentation to ensure timely funding.<\/u><\/strong> Funds will not be paid until the college determines that the verification process is complete.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”<\/p>\n What do I need to do to maintain my status as a Red River Promise scholar? ” _builder_version=”4.14.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n To continue to receive the Red River Promise scholarship, scholars must meet the cumulative GPA (2.0 overall) and Satisfactory Academic Progress (67% of all attempted credit hours) requirement each semester, complete at least 24 hours over the course of each year, and complete their FAFSA\/TASFA each year by March 1. NCTC Lion Promise Scholars must complete the NCTC Foundation Scholarship by April 15. All Promise Scholars must check with their Promise Partner college for additional renewal requirements.<\/p>\n Promise Scholars must enroll in the fall and spring semester during their first year and must not skip a fall or spring semester during the eligibility period. However, Promise scholars may enroll in fall, spring, summer, winter or May terms after enrolling in their initial fall semester (semester options may differ depending on Promise Partner college)<\/em>.<\/p>\n Promise Scholars must complete their financial aid file, including verification before Spring Priority registration opens.
